09.08.2008 Monday's Trading

Don't have much time to elaborate. I am watching the hourly stochastics on SPY and the VIX to signal a short entry. Not there yet (as of 10:19 AM CST). XLE and XLB charts added - I may look to buy SMN and/or DUG. I will see when we get there.

QQQQ puts, too.

All day and I have not done a thing yet. I thought about QQQQ puts too late, but I expect and want either a flag up or a diverging retest of a resistance level for an entry. The trading is too emotional and could go either way here.

All that said, this is still the market finding when the next leg down will start.

Great bounce late for shorts, but I am still waiting. I do not have my confirmations yet that the next leg is starting.
